I believe in the power of collaboration,
shared experience and mutual inspiration

I served as Vice President of REMA — European Early Music Network from 2022 to 2025 and remain involved as a member of its wider Board of Directors.

Today, REMA brings together more than 200 organisations from across Europe working in early music — festivals, concert venues, publishers, research and education centres, agencies and artistic ensembles.

Through this work, I encounter and connect perspectives from different countries, organisations and professional communities, while seeing first-hand the value of building an international network.

Developing the organisation

During my term as Vice President, I took part in a historic decision about the network’s future. Having previously brought together festivals and concert venues, REMA opened its membership to other types of organisations, with the ambition of creating a platform for cooperation across the entire European early music sector.

Collaboration over competition

REMA conferences are not only opportunities for members to meet. Above all, they provide a forum for discussing the challenges facing today’s classical music sector. I draw on these experiences in my work on advocacy, organisational development and international partnerships, while maintaining a broad view of the directions in which the European sector is evolving.
